The USDC is a fully collateralized counter-dollar stable currency that provides detailed financial and operational transparency and operates within the framework of the US Currency Circulation Act and works with a number of banking institutions and audit teams. This is Centre's first stable currency open source project, and Circle is the first of several members of the USDC to be released.
