Founded in 2013, Omise is a Thailand-based financial technology start-up that has now received three rounds of financing. Omise operates primarily in Thailand, Japan, Singapore and Indonesia and rapidly expands in the Asia Pacific region. In November 2016, Omise was named "Financial Technology Star" by Forbes magazine. In May 2017, Omise announced a partnership with Alipay to launch an e-wallet to integrate Alipay payment solutions into its payment services suite to help local e-commerce merchants in Thailand accept online payment transactions from Chinese tourists.
About OmiseGo This project is a combination of the traditional VC + ICO model, previously funded by the VC about 25 million Omise launched ICO, project name OmiseGo. It intends to leverage the technology of Ethereum to develop an e-wallet that allows anyone to conduct financial transactions in a completely distributed and cheaper way through OmiseGo.
