Two types of native tokens, NEO (abbreviation NEO) and NeoGas (abbreviation GAS) are built into NEO.NEO is a management tokens totaling 100 million copies for the management of NEO networks. Management rights include voting for accountant election, NEO network parameter changes and more. NEO minimum unit is 1, can not be divided.GAS is a fuel tokens, the maximum amount of up to 100 million for the NEO network resources used to achieve control. The NEO network charges for the operation and storage of tokens and smart contracts to achieve economic incentives to book-keeping people and to prevent abuse of resources. The minimum unit of GAS is 0.00000001.In the creation block of the NEO network, 100 million NEO have been generated, but the GAS has not been generated, the quantity is zero. The 100 million GASs to 100 million NEO's will be incrementally generated into NEO managed tokens' addresses within about 22 years using a fading algorithm. After the NEO manages tokens to a new address, the subsequent GAS will also be generated at the new address.The NEO Network will set a threshold by voting to save GAS for a certain amount of money transfer transactions and smart contract runs to enhance the user experience. NeoID can be used to prioritize qualified contracts and smart contracts when large trash transactions occur. Transactions and smart contracts without qualifying digital identities can be prioritized by paying GAS.
