CRV is a token of the Curvilinear DAO and is used for governance and value accrual basis.
CurveDAO is built on the Aragon framework, a decentralized autonomous platform, and there will be mechanisms for Staking, with CRV tokens primarily used for governance and value appreciation. CurveDAO will do this by charging transaction fees and performing CRV token repurchase and destruction. Curve plans to issue an initial 1 billion CRV tokens, increasing to 3.03 billion later, using an inflation model. The inflation plan had an initial inflation rate of 59.5%.
