Bitfinex will be performing a necessary system upgrade for Zcash (ZEC) to enhance the efficiency of our infrastructure. The upgrade will take place on 16 October 2025 and is expected to take approximately a few hours.


Key Details & Action Required:

• Deposits will be temporarily suspended on 15 October 2025 at 8:00 AM UTC. Withdrawals are currently suspended.
  
  
• All existing ZEC deposit addresses will be discontinued.
  
  
• Any ZEC deposits sent to an old address after the deposit closure time stated above will be lost and unrecoverable.
  
  
• Customers must generate a new ZEC deposit address before sending any future deposits once services resume.
  
  

ZEC deposit and withdrawal services will resume as soon as the upgrade is completed. Our customers can use one of the following methods to check the deposit and withdrawal status:
