We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can deposit and withdraw XAUT0 on the Bitfinex platform using The Open Network (TON) transport layer, effective from 10:00 AM UTC on 14/07/2025. 

This follows the integration of XAUT0 onto TON, a blockchain designed as a distributed supercomputer, which aims to provide various products and services that contribute to developing the decentralised vision for the new internet.

TON focuses on achieving widespread cross-chain interoperability while operating within a highly scalable and secure framework. It aims to process millions of transactions per second and eventually reach hundreds of millions of users.

The API symbol for XAUT0 on the TON transport layer is XAUT0TON.

Please note that XAUT0 will not be available for trading. Our customers can convert XAUT0 into XAUT, and vice versa, using the Bitfinex Currency Conversion tool in the Wallet section. The Currency Conversion tool can be accessed directly here once logged into the platform.

The TON token is also available to trade on Bitfinex against USD and USDt.
