In line with our commitment to deliver the best trading experience, we will delist the following tokens: Aleph Zero (AZERO), Bitpanda Ecosystem (BEST), Concordium (CCD), Ethereum POW (ETHW), Maneki (MANEKI), Polygon (MATIC ERC-20), Decentraland (MANA), Partisia (MPC), OMG Network (OMG) and The Sandbox (SAND).
This decision has been made as a result of our continued monitoring of all listed projects and a review of their listing qualifications.
Deposits for AZERO, BEST, CCD, ETHW, MANEKI, MATIC, MANA, MPC, OMG and SAND will be closed on 16/07/2025 at 6:00 AM UTC. Any deposit sent after the deposit closure time may be lost and unrecoverable. Trading for these 10 tokens will be closed on 16/07/2025 at 7.30 AM UTC.
We would like to remind our customers to cancel any open orders for the above tokens before 7:30 AM UTC on 16/07/2025. All remaining open orders will be cancelled by the system.
Further, margin trading on the ETHW and MATIC pairs (ETHW/USD, ETHW/USDt, MATIC/USD and MATIC/USDt) as well as funding for ETHW and MATIC will also be closed on 16/07/2025 at 7:30 AM UTC. From 10:00 AM UTC on 11/07/2025, customers will only be able to reduce their margin positions in ETHW and MATIC margin pairs. We would like to remind our customers to cancel any open orders before 7:30 AM UTC on 16/07/2025. All remaining margin and funding orders will be cancelled, and all open margin positions will be force-settled on 16/07/2025 at 7:30 AM UTC.
Customers who have used ETHW and MATIC as collateral to finance margin positions are reminded to replace this collateral with an alternative asset before 7:30 AM UTC on 16/07/2025. Failure to do so may result in liquidation.
Withdrawals for AZERO, BEST, CCD, ETHW, MANEKI, MATIC, MANA, MPC, OMG and SAND will remain open until 10:00 AM UTC on 18/09/2025. We recommend our customers to withdraw these tokens as soon as possible.
Should you fail to withdraw the funds before the date and time specified above and wish to withdraw them thereafter, your case will be subject to Bitfinex's Delisted Token Recovery Policy. A recovery fee may be applied. Please note that token recovery can only be attempted for up to two months following the closure of the withdrawal.
MATIC - Currency Conversion, Staking and Bitfinex Pay
Holders of MATIC on Bitfinex will be able to convert their tokens into POL (Polygon Ecosystem Token ERC-20) or POLM (Polygon Ecosystem Token on Polygon), using the currency converter on our wallet page, up until 10:00 AM UTC on 18/09/2025. After this time, Bitfinex intends to replace the balances of MATIC tokens on the Bitfinex platform with balances of POL tokens at a 1:1 ratio (1 MATIC: 1 POL). This conversion rate was specified by Polygon. If you do not wish to have your MATIC token balances replaced with the POL token balances, you must withdraw your MATIC tokens prior to the closure of MATIC withdrawals at the time specified above.
POL will remain available to trade against US Dollars (POL/USD) and Tether tokens (POL/USDt). The currency converter from POL to POLM, and vice-versa, will also remain available.
Bitfinex will discontinue staking for Polygon (MATIC ERC-20) on 16/07/2025. The final distribution of staking rewards will also occur on 16/07/2025. Customers do not need to take any action.
Bitfinex Pay will cease support for MATIC payments on 16/07/2025 at 8.30 AM UTC. Polygon Ecosystem Token (Ethereum) and Polygon Ecosystem Token (Polygon) payments will still be supported. Note that Bitfinex Pay will be decommissioned on 15/09/2025 as it transitions to Estable.io. More information on the transition of Bitfinex Pay can be found here.
BEST merge into Vision (VSN)
The delisting of BEST follows Bitpanda’s announcement regarding the upcoming merge of its tokens BEST and PAN into Vision (VSN). If Bitfinex customers wish to migrate their BEST tokens, they should first withdraw the tokens from Bitfinex to an external wallet before 18/09/2025 at 10:00 AM UTC. Customers are advised not to migrate BEST directly from their Bitfinex wallet, as funds may be lost. Please note that Bitfinex does not support the PAN token.
The Sandbox Perpetual Contract
The SAND-PERP (SANDF0:USTF0) will remain available for trading on Bitfinex after the SAND spot market closure on 16/07/2025.
